Dan the Piper - Bagpiper

This Portsmouth bagpiper is an extremely enthusiastic and motivated piper who began learning to play the bagpipes in South Africa at the age of 13 and is available for weddings and events across the South.

Since then he has competed in both junior band, senior band and solo piping competitions and in recent years became Pipe Sergeant of a parade band.

He has performed at many events, including on radio, tv and various concerts, and takes great pride in the sound of the music he performs.

He can play a range of recognised traditional music and tunes, but also play a lot of hornpipes and jigs to liven things up.

He dresses in Highland kilt and sporran but does not wear military costume.
